CAZENOVIA — Tops Friendly Markets has opened a fuel station at its location in Cazenovia, its fifth in Central New York.

The on-site gas station, its 51st companywide, is part of Tops’ capital-improvement plan, the company said in a news release.

Tops opened its first Central New York on-site fueling station as part of a renovation at its Baldwinsville store in late July 2011, the company said.

The Cazenovia Tops Xpress location has four self-serve fuel dispensers and a convenience store, according to Tops.

Customers who shop at participating Tops locations can earn GasPoints, Mike Patti, regional vice president of Tops East region, said in the news release.

Shoppers who use the Tops Markets’ BonusCard when shopping earn points on qualifying grocery and pharmacy purchases, the company said.
