SYRACUSE, N.Y. — As the holiday shopping season rapidly approaches, Destiny USA has announced a new store, some store relocations, and an update on one retailer’s renovation work.

Toys R Us Express has opened for the season in a 3,000-square-foot space on the second level of the mall’s expansion section, between Wilson Leather and Quiksilver, Destiny USA said in a news release issued Monday.

Also, As Seen on TV, which sells products featured on television informercials, has moved to a new space on the mall’s first level, under the Food Court.

Yogibo, a bean-bag furniture store, has also relocated to the former As Seen on TV space on the second level of the expansion, next to Off Broadway Shoes. Yogibo moved across the hall from its former space.

In addition, Hollister California’s storefront renovation is nearly complete, according to Destiny USA.

The store, a retailer of Southern California–inspired apparel and accessories for young adults, unveiled the new entrance last week. Half of its entrance includes a video screen in the doorway.

The other half remains under construction, but the work should finish in a few weeks.

Hollister has stayed open during the renovation, Destiny USA said.
