CANTON, N.Y. — The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will hold a one-day recruitment event in early September to help people who want to work as a transportation security officer (TSO) at the airports in either Ogdensburg or Massena.
The session is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 4, at the New York State Department of Labor office at 80 State Highway 310 Suite 8 in Canton, the TSA said in a Tuesday news release.
During the hiring event, TSA officials will discuss the duties of a TSA officer and the application process. They will also provide an overview of working for the federal government and discuss benefits.
