Shawn M. Campbell
Troopers were dispatched to Wahl to Wahl Auto in Middlefield on March 6 for a report that the business was missing several catalytic converters, according to a NYS Police news release. An investigation found that employee Shawn M. Campbell had stolen several catalytic converters over several months. Campbell is also accused of selling the catalytic converters with Jesse J. Stefanelli, who is not an employee of Wahl to Wahl Auto.
Campbell, age 26 of Delhi (Delaware County), was arrested on March 7, released on an appearance ticket, and ordered to return to the town of Middlefield court on April 1. Stefanelli, age 29 of Bovina (Delaware County), was arrested on March 11, also released on an appearance ticket, and ordered to return to the Middlefield court on April 1.
