Ulrich joins NBT agricultural banking team

April Ulrich has joined NBT Bank’s agricultural banking team as VP and senior ag banking relationship manager at the bank’s Capital Regional Financial Center on Wolf Road in Albany.

In her new role, Ulrich is responsible for supporting customers across the Capital Region and portions of the Mohawk Valley and Southern Tier.

Ulrich has more than three decades of experience including agriculture, small business, and retail banking. Her previous roles include serving as area retail leader, relationship manager, loan officer, and federal bank examiner. Ulrich previously worked for KeyBank, First Pioneer Farm Credit, the National Bank of Stamford, and Farm Credit Administration, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Ulrich earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from SUNY Albany.

Ulrich has a long history of community service and currently serves as the treasurer of Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc.

“April has served as a rural and community banker throughout her career, always leading with a servant’s heart,” Jennifer Conard, NBT’s agricultural banking manager, said in a statement. “We look forward to seeing how her expertise will further support our customers.”
