FULTON, N.Y. — The United Way of Greater Oswego County announced that it recently appointed Oswego native Patrick Dewine as executive director.
Dewine brings 15 years of business-management experience to the post. For many of those years, he served as campaign coordinator for Friendly’s Restaurant in Oswego to support the United Way, according to a May 7 news release from the nonprofit.
“It’s an honor to be chosen for this position,” Dewine said in the release. “It provides me with an opportunity to share my compassion and concerns for others. I won’t be doing it alone however; myself, the United Way board of directors, our dedicated staff, and our member agencies are working toward the same goal … to make Oswego County a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
