Urban Outfitters to move Syracuse store from Armory Square to Destiny USA

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Urban Outfitters is moving its Syracuse store to Destiny USA this summer.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania–based lifestyle retailer currently operates at 223 Walton St. in Syracuse’s Armory Square area. It has had a store there since coming to the region in August 2010.

The store features a mix of trendy women’s and men’s apparel, fashion items, footwear, and accessories.

“Urban Outfitters is excited to expand its retail family with the opening of its Destiny USA location and looks forward to being a part of the Destiny community,” Urban Outfitters said in a Destiny USA release.

Urban Outfitters’ new store at Destiny USA will be on the 2nd level of the Lord & Taylor wing, between Alex and Ani and Sephora.

“We are thrilled to finally be able say ‘yes, the rumors you heard are true’ Urban Outfitters is moving to Destiny USA,” Nikita Jankowski, director of marketing at Destiny USA, said in the release. “This world-known brand is staying in the community and joining our long list of distinguished stores that our shoppers and guests love.”
