SYRACUSE, N.Y. — U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will deliver the address at the Syracuse University College of Law commencement ceremony in the Carrier Dome on May 13.
It’ll be the fourth time that Biden has spoken to the College of Law’s graduating class, having delivered the commencement address in 1994, 2002, and 2006, Syracuse said in a news release posted on its website Tuesday.
He also delivered Syracuse University’s main commencement address in 2009, where he received an honorary degree from the university.
Biden graduated from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1968. His son, the late Beau Biden, also graduated from the College of Law in 1994.
Biden is an honorary member of the College of Law’s board of advisors.
“Vice President Biden is a treasured member of the College of Law family and we are excited to bring him back this May,” William Banks, interim dean of the College of Law, said in the release.
