The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Development program has awarded federal funding to the Tioga County Local Development Corp. (LDC) and the Town of Massena for various projects.
The funded projects will improve public water systems, expand access to broadband, and support small businesses, the office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D–N.Y.) announced Wednesday.
The Tioga County LDC will use $50,000 to develop and implement a technical support program for small retail and hospitality businesses in Tioga County.
