UTICA — The Utica Custom T-Shirt Company is set for its grand opening on Thursday at 604 Columbia St. in the city’s Brewery District.

The printing company will specialize in direct-to-garment, silkscreen, sublimination, and embroidery processes. It prints on T-Shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and Polo shirts, the company said in a news release.

The firm will initially employ five people, owner Adrienne Zito said in the release. She plans to “substantially increase” that number over the next few months as the firm implements its local and statewide marketing campaigns.

The Utica Custom T-Shirt Company believes its “totally free design service” will set it apart from competitors, Zito said.

“We’ll custom design a shirt for you or your company at absolutely no charge to you whatsoever. We can work from your photograph, your artwork, or just your idea. We even offer non-profits a way to raise funds off T-shirt sales without putting up a single dime,” Zito added.
