UTICA, N.Y. — Sotera Investigative Group, LLC will formally rebrand at a ceremony with the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce on June 18 at 4:30 p.m. at its office in the Utica Business Park.
Sotera broke off and rebranded from Investigative Solutions Network, a separate, Canada–based private investigation firm, Francis Manfredo, president, tells BJNN. Sotera is a company comprised of former law-enforcement officials and certified fire investigators who investigate and provide training for various types of cases.
“Sotera provides civil, corporate and criminal investigative services, as well as insurance investigations concerning fraud, workers’ compensation and fire claims,” according to a chamber of commerce news release.
Sotera says it has worked on civil and criminal cases, background investigations, surveillance, workers’ compensation and insurance-fraud cases, and more, according to its LinkedIn profile. The company also provides education and training in active-shooter response, sexual harassment, substance abuse in the workplace, and emergency preparedness.
Founded in 2017 by Manfredo, Sotera is fully bonded, insured, and licensed by the state of New York, per its LinkedIn page. Other members of its executive team include a director of investigations, director of fire investigations, and a finance administrator.
