ORISKANY, N.Y. — Utica First Insurance Co. will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 8, at noon, to formally mark the opening of the new addition at its headquarters at 5981 Airport Road in Oriskany.

The company added 6,600 square feet to the structure to accommodate its growing staff. Employees began working in the new space on Feb. 23, the firm said in an email.

Several local dignitaries, as well as Utica First’s entire staff and board of directors are expected to be at the event.
