UVANY relaunches website with new logo

ALBANY — The Upstate Venture Association of New York (UVANY) has relaunched its website, featuring a new organizational logo and brand identity.

The new site (www.uvany.org) includes enhanced mobile, social media, news, events, and membership accessibility that will allow users to more effectively share investment activity and resources across the broad upstate New York region, UVANY contends.

The new UVANY logo symbolizes the organization’s statewide membership working together to make “investment deals” and facilitate the flow of private capital throughout the upstate region, UVANY said in a news release.

Albany–based UVANY says it’s the only statewide organization that connects private capital sources such as venture capital and private equity to companies across the state. The organization’s membership includes investors, entrepreneurs, businesses, universities, government organizations, and regional communities.

The new website, developed by Rochester–based Estes Creative and Minerva Design creates a new look and feel. The new site will serve as a general marketing tool, information resource, educational tool, and platform for the organization’s approximately 150 members and sponsors, UVANY noted.

The website contains an entrepreneur/business plan posting function to help entrepreneurs gain visibility within upstate New York’s investment community.

UVANY’s sponsors include The Bonadio Group, First Niagara, NYSERDA, MACNY, and Upstate Venture Connect.
