VERNON, N.Y. — Vernon Downs Casino Hotel this week is holding a job fair to add to its food and beverage staff.
The event, dubbed “Recipe for Success,” is set for Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the hotel convention center.
Vernon Downs wants to fill 45 total positions during the two-day event, including 8 full-time jobs, 12 part time, and 25 seasonal positions, a spokesman said in a follow-up email.

The seasonal positions are available during the harness-racing season, which opens April 22 and continues through late fall.
