SYRACUSE — The Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University will offer a two-day workshop at a national conference for veterans in Detroit.
Participants will learn whether starting a business is right for them, if their business idea is feasible, and more. The workshop will be available to 50 service members and veterans interested in starting a company.
It will take place at the 2012 National Veterans Small Business Conference from June 24 to June 25. The workshop is a collaboration of the institute, the U.S. Small Business Administration, Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs.
There is no fee for the training, but participants will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Some scholarships are available.
