SYRACUSE, N.Y. — VF Outlet, a Reading, Pa.–based retailer that operates a store at Waterloo Premium Outlets in Seneca County, is set to open a new 20,000-square-foot outlet at Destiny USA in Syracuse.

The new store will open on the second level of the mall’s expansion section before the end of this year, according to a Destiny USA news release.

VF Outlet says it offers an array of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel and accessories at discount prices. That includes brands such as Disney, Lee, Maidenform, and Wrangler, according to the release.

VF Outlet will seek LEED certification for its store build-out, according to the website of the U.S. Green Building Council.

The retailer will be hosting a job fair for positions at its new Destiny USA store on Wednesday, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fair will take place on the first level of Destiny, across from the Forever 21 store. VF Outlet says full-time and part-time positions, including management and sales-associate jobs, are available, according to the Destiny release.  

VF Outlet was founded in 1970 and bills itself as one of the earliest outlet operators, according to its website. The retailer has 80 stores in 33 states.
