Prior to joining Smith Sovik, Prial, Prial worked as an associate in another Syracuse law firm. Before relocating to Syracuse, he was an associate at Hunton & Williams LLP in New York City and also served as a judicial clerk to Justice Constance Baker Motley of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
