OLD FORGE, N.Y. — Water Safari Resort, which includes Enchanted Forest Water Safari, opens for the season on June 15 for the first unrestricted season since before the pandemic began in 2020.

Water Safari features several new amenities this season including eight new cabanas around the park. Its Boardwalk Fries location and one of the three ‘Dack Shack locations serving adult beverages have moved to a new building in the front of the park.

“We have outgrown our space in the old Boardwalk Fries building, and due to the popular demand for Boardwalk Fries, it was time to expand,” Katie Wojdyla, VP and director of marketing, said in a news release.

The ‘Dack Shack moved from a shared location with Tropical Treats. “The larger footprint will allow us to be more efficient and accommodate more guests for better speed of service,” Wojdyla added.

With opening day coming up, the resort is still actively hiring for the season for a number of positions including reservations, office/administrative assistants, park admissions, custodial, lifeguards, housekeeping, and food service. Housing is available onsite for those age 18 and older.

Water Safari Resort includes Enchanted Forest Water Safari water and amusement park, Calypso’s Cove family fun park, Old Forge Camping Resort, and the Water’s Edge Inn.
