WEBSTER, N.Y. — A new administration building for the Town of Webster’s water resource recovery facility (WRRF) in Monroe County is now complete.
That’s according to Aubertine and Currier Architects, Engineers & Land Surveyors, PLLC (A&C), which announced the completion in a Thursday email.
The website of WROC-TV in Rochester reported in June 2024 that the Town of Webster was working to replace its wastewater facility and turn it into a “water resource recovery facility.”

As part of a larger effort to expand and upgrade the WRRF, A&C collaborated with Salina–based Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., the prime firm, to “enhance this essential facility, supporting its vital daily operations,” the Watertown firm said in its announcement.
The existing portion of the administration building was built in the 1980s and included offices, a small laboratory, locker rooms, and a garage.
Aubertine and Currier said it worked to renovate and enlarge the administration building by designing a 3,400-square-foot addition that more than doubled the occupied space of the building, per its announcement.
The effort included the addition of a brand-new 740-square-foot laboratory with new equipment and amenities that give facility staff the ability to monitor, test, and experiment while keeping up with the plant’s processing activities. A&C described the laboratory as a “key component of the project.”
A new 750-square-foot break room includes a full kitchen for staff, audio-visual equipment for training and presentations, and modular furniture that allows for “easy reconfiguration” based on the needs of the facility.
Since the building’s central corridor connects all new spaces, A&C was able to integrate cabinetry as well as space for the copier and other office supplies for easy access for all facility staff, the company noted.
