Marcia Harrington was recently named vice president of marketing and communications at WCNY. She brings more than 25 years experience to the position. Prior to working at WCNY, Harrington was director of public relations at Long Island University, and vice president of marketing and communications at United Way of Central New York. She earned a master’s degree from Syracuse University. Sam Klewicki was recently named associated producer at WCNY. She graduated this past May from Tompkins Cortland Community College, where she earned an associate degree in broadcast production: television. Bryan Schumaker has been named production assistant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast and communications from SUNY Oswego. John Rizzo was named production assistant. He earned an associate degree in electronic-media communications from Onondaga Community College.
