SYRACUSE, N.Y. — WCNY, Central New York’s public broadcaster, has appointed Ronald Teplitsky of Manlius to its board of trustees.
Teplitsky, a CPA, is currently partner of the consulting firm, Next Point LLC.
“Ron not only brings his strong professional skills to the board, but as an avid viewer and listener of public television and radio, he brings a knowledgeable consumer perspective that is very valuable,” Robert Daino, WCNY president and CEO, said in a news release.
Teplitsky has been an active volunteer in community organizations in both Western and Central New York. Locally, he served as an officer of the Syracuse Jewish Federation and the Syracuse Jewish Community Center.
Teplitsky earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
