Wegmans rolled out the latest version of its mobile app this week, which brought the grocery store chain’s mobile offering to Android devices.
The company released its app several years ago for Apple devices and had been getting requests regularly for an Android version, according to Wegmans. The new app also adds the ability to generate shopping lists based on past purchases, organizes shopping by aisle, estimates the total costs of items on a shopping list and more.
The app will also be available soon for the Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble Nook, according to Wegmans.
Wegmans has 81 stores in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts and is based in Rochester.
