ONEIDA, N.Y. — WellNow Urgent Care last Thursday formally opened a new location at 109 Genesee St. in Oneida.

The organization was previously known as Five Star Urgent Care, describing itself as “one of New York’s fastest-growing urgent care providers.”

The new Oneida facility represents WellNow Urgent Care’s 24th location. It also opened new offices in Auburn and Irondequoit (near Rochester) earlier in December.

WellNow Urgent Care provides treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, such as sprains, strains, colds and the flu. It also offers on-site X-rays, lab testing, and physicals.

Patients are treated on a walk-in basis but may also check in online or view up-to-date facility wait times directly on the company’s homepage to help reduce wait times, per its release. WellNow Urgent Care offers treatment seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
