What channel is Syracuse basketball’s ACC Tournament game on? (vs. Wake Forest)

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Syracuse men’s basketball (19-12 overall, 8-10 ACC) seeks its first-ever ACC Tournament win when it faces the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (11-19, 4-14) on Tuesday evening.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will be televised nationally on ESPNU and the Watch ESPN app, as well as on ACC Network affiliate stations. In the Syracuse market, the ACC network station showing the contest will be WSTQ CW 6

Syracuse is coming off its best win of the season, a 55-52 conquest of Clemson at the Carrier Dome last Saturday afternoon. It was the first Orange victory over a Top 25 ranked team this season and injected new life into Syracuse’s fading NCAA Tournament hopes.

Wake Forest wrapped up its disappointing regular season with a 64-56 defeat at Georgia Tech on Saturday.

What’s at stake for Syracuse?

The stakes are very high for the Orange as any chance they have at an at-large NCAA bid requires at least a win over the Demon Deacons and quite possibly more. The Cuse simply must win this game to give itself a shot and set up a game against North Carolina on Wednesday night that would allow the Orange to definitively play their way into the dance.

Syracuse is 6-1 all-time against Wake Forest, including 5-1 since joining the ACC in the 2013-2014 season. The Orange and the Demon Deacons split their two regular-season meetings this season Wake Forest won 73-67 on Jan. 3 at the Deacons’ home — Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. And, Syracuse took the rematch 78-70 on Feb. 11 at the Carrier Dome.

The Orange are 0-3 in the ACC Tournament since joining the conference.
