Boston College has lost three straight games, including a 79-78 defeat at Miami Saturday afternoon. The Eagles led by as many as 14 points, but missed critical free throws down the stretch and were defeated by a Hurricanes three-pointer with 2.3 seconds left in the game.
What’s at stake for Syracuse?
Syracuse has won its last two meetings with the Eagles, including an 81-63 victory at the Carrier Dome on Jan. 24 of this season. However, Boston College did win the last matchup in Chestnut Hill, dominating the Orange 96-81 on New Year’s Day in 2017.
Syracuse leads the series 7-2 since the Cuse joined the ACC in the 2013-2014 season.
