What channel is the Syracuse basketball game on at Georgetown?

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Syracuse basketball (5-4) seeks a second straight win when the Orange visit their longtime rival, the Georgetown Hoyas (6-3) on Saturday afternoon.

The game tips off just after 1 p.m. at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. and will be shown nationally on Fox. In Central New York, the channels are WSYT Fox 68 in Syracuse, WICZ-TV Fox 40 in Binghamton, WYDC Big Fox 48 in Corning–Elmira, WFXV 33 in Utica, and WWNF Fox 28 in Watertown.

Syracuse enters the Georgetown game following a 97-63 win at Georgia Tech last Saturday. That resounding victory snapped a three-game Orange losing streak — all double-digit losses against power-five opponents.

Syracuse scores an average of 72.1 points per game, while giving up 63.3 points (good for a +8.8 average scoring margin). The Orange are ranked No. 51 in the KenPom college basketball ratings. Syracuse ranks No. 71 in KenPom’s adjusted offensive efficiency and No. 40 in adjusted defensive efficiency.

Georgetown enters the game off two straight road wins at Oklahoma State (81-74) and SMU (91-74), respectively. The Hoyas have taken their game to the next level after losing two of their top five scorers to transfer before the last two games.

Georgetown scores an average of 79.4 points per game, while allowing 74.4 points (+5.0 avg. scoring margin). The Hoyas are ranked No. 47 in the KenPom college basketball ratings. Georgetown ranks No. 21 in adjusted offensive efficiency and No. 90 in adjusted defensive efficiency.

ESPN’s Basketball Power Index (BPI) gives Georgetown a 61.4 percent chance to win the game, while Syracuse has a 38.6 percent chance.

Saturday’s game is the 95th all-time meeting between the Orange and the Hoyas, with Syracuse holding a 51-43 series edge. The Orange posted comeback wins in each of the last two matchups against the Georgetown.
