The Orange led 34-29, at halftime, but could not answer the Blue Devils clutch three-point shooting in the second half. Junior guard Tyus Battle scored 16 points in a losing effort. Three other Orange — Elijah Hughes (12), Frank Howard (10), and Marek Dolezaj (10) — also tallied double figures in points.

North Carolina is on a roll, having won 10 of its last 11 games. The Tar Heels on Saturday smashed Florida State 77-59 in Chapel Hill. UNC ranks third in Division I scoring offense (87.1 ppg) and rebound margin (+9.5 rpg). They will present a big challenge to the Orange who struggle to score points and grab rebounds.
