What channel is the Syracuse basketball game on? (vs. Colgate)

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball (2-2) looks to rebound from a pair of losses in New York City when the Orange host the Colgate Raiders on Wednesday night.

The game tips off just after 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and will be shown on the ACC Network Extra online channel. It is streamed through the WatchESPN app and can be accessed on computers, smartphones, tablets, as well as TVs with a platform such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and Chromecast.

Noah Eagle and Matt Roe will be the game announcers.

Syracuse is reeling after a pair of ugly losses at the 2K Empire Classic at Madison Square Garden late last week. The Orange lost to Connecticut, 76-83, on Thursday night, and fell to Oregon, 65-80, on Friday afternoon. The defeats sent the Cuse careening out of the Top 25 in the polls after getting ranked as high as No. 14. Poor shooting, which wasn’t a complete surprise, plagued Syracuse in the Big Apple. But what was surprising was how poorly the Orange defense played against the Huskies and Ducks, surrendering open three pointers and easy inside baskets with reckless abandon. The two losses followed a pair of wins Syracuse posted to start the season, vs. Eastern Washington and Morehead St., in the comfortable confines of the Carrier Dome.

Colgate comes into the Dome having won four straight games. It’s the program’s first 4-1 start to a season in 11 years. The Raiders have defeated Monmouth, Cornell, Nazareth, and Binghamton in succession, since dropping the season opener at N.J. Tech.

Syracuse has played no other program more than Colgate. The Orange hold a 125-45 lead in the series and have won the last 52 meetings. Last year’s contest, however, was competitive with Syracuse logging a workmanlike 72-58 win at the Dome.
