SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball (18-8, 9-4 ACC) looks for another big win against America’s most famous college team when the Orange host the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils (23-3, 11-2 ACC) on Saturday evening.
The game tips off just after 6 p.m. at the Carrier Dome, before a sellout crowd of more than 35,000, and will be televised nationally on ESPN. Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas, and Maria Taylor will be the announcing crew. You can also stream it on the WatchESPN app.
Syracuse comes off a 69-49 win over No. 18 Louisville on Wednesday, a victory that significantly boosted the NCAA Tournament chances of the Orange. The win was quickly overshadowed by news of the fatal car accident involving head coach Jim Boeheim after the game. As a result, ESPN has decided to scrap its scheduled College GameDay broadcast at the Dome on Saturday morning in advance of the game. However, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim will be coaching his team against the Blue Devils.
Saturday’s contest is the 14th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Duke, with the Blue Devils leading the series 7-6, including a 5-4 advantage since the Orange joined the ACC five years ago.
