SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball (10-5, 4-4 ACC) looks for a quality win for its NCAA résumé when the Orange host the Louisville Cardinals (11-4, 6-3 ACC) on Wednesday night.
The game tips off at 7:01 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and will be televised on the ACC Network, available to subscribers of many cable and satellite TV packages. You can also stream it through the ESPN app as long as you receive the ACC Network through your TV subscription. Jay Alter and Jon Crispin will be the announcers.

Louisville enters off a 74-58 home win over Georgia Tech on Monday afternoon. Syracuse comes off a 76-73 home victory over NC State on Sunday evening.
Wednesday’s contest is the 30th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Louisville, with the Cardinals leading the series 19-10, including a 90-66 demolition of the Orange in last season’s meeting in Louisville.
ESPN’s College Basketball Power Index (BPI) gives Syracuse a 66.4 percent chance of beating Louisville. The projected point differential is 4.4 points. The sports analytics website TeamRankings.com says the Orange have a 48.8 percent chance of winning the game. That same site projects that Syracuse’s current probability of making the NCAA Tournament is 28.1 percent.
