What channel is the Syracuse basketball game on? (vs. NC State)

Syracuse basketball (17-8 overall, 6-6 ACC) seeks a third consecutive win on Wednesday night when it hosts the North Carolina State Wolfpack (16-9, 6-6) in a game vital to both teams in the ACC standings and the race for an NCAA Tournament bid.

The game tips off at 9 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and will be televised on ACC Network affiliate stations. In the Syracuse market, the game will be shown on WSTQ CW 6. Tom Werme and Dan Bonner will be the announcers, according to Syracuse Athletics game notes.

In other Central New York markets, the contest will be available on the following TV stations, according to the ACC:

[elementor-template id="66015"]
  • Binghamton: WBPN (My 8)
  • Elmira: WJKP-TV Twin Tiers
  • Utica: WPNY-LP Channel 11
  • Watertown: WWTI ABC 50

Elsewhere in upstate New York, viewers can see the Wolfpack-Orange game on these TV stations:

  • Albany: WNYA (My 4)
  • Rochester: WHAM-D3 (Grit TV)

Syracuse is coming off a pair of wins — at Louisville and home vs. Wake Forest, respectively — that have put the Orange back in the hunt for an NCAA berth.

What’s at stake for Syracuse?

The Orange have a chance to get above .500 in conference for the first time since they were 1-0 in early January and pick up a key win over a team it is competing with for a spot in March Madness. A loss would derail Syracuse’s momentum right as its schedule is about to become more difficult (the Cuse will play at Miami, vs. North Carolina, and at Duke the next three games). It would also provide the Wolfpack with another crucial road win and improve their chances at snaring a bid.

Syracuse has won its last two meetings with NC State, including a 100-93 overtime thriller last season in Raleigh, North Carolina.
