What channel is the Syracuse basketball game on? (vs. Northeastern)

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball (5-2) seeks a fourth straight win when the Orange host the Northeastern Huskies (4-4) on Tuesday night.

The game tips off just after 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and will be shown on the ACC Network Extra online channel. It is streamed through the WatchESPN app and can be accessed on computers, smartphones, tablets, as well as TVs with a platform such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and Chromecast.

Syracuse enters the Northeastern contest off three consecutive wins, all coming since the return from injury of senior point guard Frank Howard. Last week, the Orange notched a signature win at Ohio State 72-62 on Wednesday. Syracuse followed up that big win with an admittedly flat effort against Cornell in the battle of the Boeheims on Saturday night. The Orange trailed by 1 point with just over 6 minutes to go, but eventually pulled away for a 63-55 victory.

Northeastern comes into the Dome off two straight wins. The Huskies scored an 81-67 victory over Eastern Michigan at home in Boston on Saturday. That followed a 96-78 Northeastern win at Bucknell last Wednesday night. The team’s leading scorer is 6’1 guard Jordan Roland (15.9 points per game), a Westhill High School graduate who started his college career at George Washington before transferring to Northeastern. The Huskies are ranked 121st in the latest NET rankings from the NCAA. The NET is the new tool the NCAA will use instead of RPI to select and seed the 2019 NCAA Tournament field. Syracuse is currently ranked No. 45 in NET.

This will be the 7th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Northeastern, with the Orange having won all six previous games. The last meeting was Dec. 30, 2007, when the Cuse won 95-74.
