SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball (8-4, 2-3 ACC) looks to make it two wins in a row when it hosts the Virginia Tech Hokies (11-2, 5-1 ACC) on Saturday afternoon.
The game tips off just after 12 p.m. at the Dome and will be shown on ACC regional sports network (RSN) affiliates. Tom Werme and Mike Gminski will be the announcers.
In Central New York and many New York state markets, viewers will be able to see the game on the YES Network.

The teams
Syracuse, currently ranked 47th in the NCAA’s NET Ratings, is coming off a critical bounce-back win over Miami last Tuesday night, 83-57 at the Dome. That snapped a two-game Orange losing streak.
Virginia Tech (No. 14 in AP poll and 16 in Coaches poll) enters off three straight wins. The last victory came last Sunday at Wake Forest, with the Hokies prevailing 64-60
Saturday’s contest is the 16th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Virginia Tech. The Orange lead the series 10-5, including a 6-3 mark since Syracuse joined the ACC in the 2013-14 season. The teams split a pair of games last season, with each team winning on the other’s home floor.
ESPN’s College Basketball Power Index (BPI) gives Syracuse a 63 percent chance of beating the Hokies. The projected point differential is 3.5 points.
