What channel is the Syracuse basketball game on? (vs. Wake Forest)

Syracuse men’s basketball (16-8 overall, 5-6 ACC) shoots for a second straight win on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 11, when it hosts the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (9-15, 2-10).

The game tips off at 1 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and will be televised on ACC Network affiliate stations. In the Syracuse market, the game will be shown on WSTM NBC Channel 3.

In other Central New York markets, the contest will be available on the following TV stations, according to the ACC:

  • Binghamton: WBPN (My 8)
  • Elmira: WJKP-TV Twin Tiers
  • Utica: WPNY-LP Channel 11
  • Watertown: WWTI ABC 50

Elsewhere in upstate New York, viewers can see the Deacons-Orange game on these TV stations:

  • Albany: WNYA (My 4)
  • Buffalo: WNLO CW 23
  • Rochester: WHAM-D2 (CW WHAM)

Syracuse is coming off perhaps its biggest win of the season, a 78-73 road victory last Monday night at Louisville on national TV. The triumph snapped a two-game losing streak and breathed some new life into the Cuse’s sagging NCAA Tournament hopes.

Wake Forest has lost nine of its last 10 games since vanquishing Syracuse 73-67 on Jan. 3 at the Deacons’ home — Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

What’s at stake for Syracuse?

The Orange have a chance to get back to a .500 record in ACC play and string together wins as they seek to claw back inside the NCAA bubble. Losing to Wake Forest, which ranks about 120th in RPI, at home would deal a big blow to Syracuse’s hopes of dancing in March. It’s a win the Orange simply must get to keep moving forward.
