What channel is the Syracuse-NC State football game on?

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Orange football team (5-2, 2-2 ACC) gets its first chance to become bowl-eligible when it hosts the 22nd ranked North Carolina State Wolfpack (5-1, 2-1 ACC) on Saturday evening.

The game kicks off at 7:05 p.m. at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse and will be shown on ESPN 2 nationally.

Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht, and Rocky Boiman will be the announcing crew.

Syracuse seeks to keep the momentum going following last week’s thrilling, come-from-behind 40-37 win in overtime against the North Carolina Tar Heels at the Dome. The late-game heroics, led by redshirt freshman quarterback Tommy DeVito, snapped a two-game Orange losing streak and may have saved the season from a downward spiral.

NC State comes to Syracuse fresh off a 41-7 loss at No. 3 Clemson last Saturday afternoon, which ended the Wolfpack’s five-game winning streak to start the season.

Saturday’s meeting is the 12th all-time between Syracuse and NC State. The Wolfpack lead the series 10-1, including winning the last four games. The only Orange win over NC State came in 2013, Syracuse’s inaugural season in the ACC.

Under head coach Dino Babers, Syracuse has defeated one ranked opponent at the Dome in each of his first two seasons, stopping No. 17 Virginia Tech in 2016 and defeating No. 2 Clemson last year. The game against NC State will be the one and only chance for the Orange to take down a ranked team at home this season since its one remaining home opponent after this, Louisville, is not ranked.
